Description:
The entire Senior School and Middle School assembled to bid Mrs. J. Guha farewell on her retirement after serving CJM Delhi for 22 years. The theme for the farewell was ‘God be With You.’ Mrs. Guha entered with Principal Sr. Gracy, followed by Supervisors of Middle and Senior School and Sr. Antoinette the Superior of the School. While the Choir sang they lit the lamp to reach out to the Almighty for his blessings this was followed by the reading from the Bible and intentions for Mrs. Guha. Two students spoke of their experiences in Mrs. Guha’s class they narrated incidences which highlighted her persona and exemplified her as a teacher.Mrs. Guha in her farewell speech expressed her thankfulness and appreciation for the morning program, she said that she had never expected such a grand send of and was deeply touched by all the words and feelings expressed by the Principal Sr. Gracy, her colleagues and the students. Lastly the students presented a dance to the tune of ‘Enjoy yourself’ to which they gave very novel movements and expressions.
