GENERAL NORMS FOR K.G ADMISSION (2024-25)

1. Convent of Jesus and Mary is an English Medium Catholic School for Girls, established by the Congregation of Jesus and Mary. It is an Unaided Private Christian Minority Institution catering to children of all communities with a special responsibility for the education of Christians.
2. Girls born between 01.04.2019 and 31.03.2020 will  be eligible  for  admission  to  KG  2024.
3. The Registration Forms are available ONLY ONLINE on our school website i.e. www.cjmdelhi.comfor payment of Rs. 25/- from 23rd November, 2023 to 15^th December 2023. (Time : 24 hours)

4. The completed forms in all respect should be submitted Online and Hard copy of the same along with all enclosures should be attested and submitted at our school office from 24.11.2023  to 16.12.2023 in the Letter Box marked " APPLICATIONS- K.G" between 9:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
    (i) Proof of age:
                 * Municipal Birth Certificate
    (ii) For Catholic & Christian:
                 * Baptismal Certificate for Catholics and Christians
                 * Letter from the Parish Priest that you are a regular member.
    (iii) Proof of Parent as Old CJMite:
                 * School leaving Certificate / Board Certificates of Classes X & XII of Mother.
    (iv) Proof of Residence: (Any three of the following)
                 * A photocopy of Electoral ID card / Passport / Aadhar Card / Telephone Bill

                 Electricity Bill/Water Bill/LPG Gas Bill/Ration Card).

5. There will be no test or interviews of the applicants or their parents. Weightage will be given according to the following criteria.
(i) The weightage is without prejudice to the schools constitutional rights to give preference to children from Christian Community.
(ii) Neighborhood:              25 points
(iii) Siblings:                       15 points
(iv) Children of Alumni:      10 points
(v) Staff:                             10 points
6. Minority schools are exempted from the ambit of RTE.
7. No special facilities are available for children with special needs.
8. No recommendations will be entertained; it will only lead to disqualification.
9. NO DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED. Parents are warned against dealing with any person who might approach them for a “DONATION” or a “PROFESSIONAL FEE” to guarantee admission for their child.
10. The school reserves the right to reject application forms with incomplete or false information.
11. Bus facility is not available.
12. Please note that number of seats in this school is limited.
13. This is only an application, not a guarantee to admission.
14. The first list (for interaction) will be displayed on notice board on January 12th, 2024 at 02:00 PM.
