Description:
On the 14th of October 2015, Wednesday, the German delegates of the “Indo German Classroom” programme were accorded a formal welcome. The ceremony was held in Claudine Hall at 8:30 a.m. The Germans were welcomed with tika and showered with flowers by students of Class IX in traditional Indian costumes. This was followed by a short introduction to the “German Indian Classroom” programme. A sufi song enjoining the blessings of the almighty on our guests were sung by students of Class XI dressed in traditional attire. A PPT on the diversity of India was presented by two students of XII-D. This was followed by a fusion dance of two classical Indian dance forms. The ceremony came to an end with Frau Corina Schmidt giving a speech. The German students presented a token of appreciation to our school which was accepted by Sr. Lydia and Sr. Antionette.
